Job description

As Equipment Engineer, you will lead equipment performance improvement initiatives.

In your role, you will:

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance schedules to ensure high equipment availability and reliability.
  2. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  3. Identify root causes of equipment failure and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  4. Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, reliability, and quality.
  5. Coordinate all Safety, Health, and Environment activities and establish relevant audit documentation for the tester lab.
  6. Manage spare part inventory, coordinate with procurement to source and maintain cost-effective spare parts.
  7. Monitor and control equipment-related costs to meet operational budgets and propose cost-saving initiatives.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, engineering, and quality to address equipment challenges and support new product process improvements.

You are best suited for this role if you have:

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or a comparable field.
  2. Knowledge of working principles, troubleshooting & diagnostic skills, interpretation of schematics/electronic circuitry, and repair of equipment/test hardware.
  3. Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in English.
