Job summary

A leading EPCC company is seeking an experienced Engine Service Technician to perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of gas or diesel engines. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience, be fluent in English, and be willing to travel extensively. You will work closely with customers and ensure adherence to safety standards. This role is based in BSD, South Tangerang, Indonesia.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Engine Service Technician (Mechanical/Electrical).
• Prior professional experience with reciprocating engines preferred.
• Professional English fluency.
• Available for extensive travel, up to 80%.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Willing to be placed in BSD, South Tangerang.

Overview

As an Engine Service Technician, you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning of engines (gas or diesel). You will ensure engines are properly adjusted and perform start-up and shutdown operations in both manual and automatic modes. You will collaborate with customers during testing and troubleshooting, participate in continuous improvement efforts, and ensure all processes follow the manufacturer’s guidelines and safety standards.

• Perform troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair of engines.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance based on schedules.
• Prepare and manage spare parts lists for maintenance and repairs.
• Operate engines in both manual and automatic modes.
• Coordinate with customers during engine testing and troubleshooting.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes.
• Ensure proper handling and safety procedures while engines are under maintenance.

Qualifications
