Qualifications

• S1 or S2 qualification is required.
• Good digital literacy and able to operate computers confidently for daily teaching and administrative purposes.
• Proficient in using PowerPoint, Canva, or similar presentation tools to prepare teaching materials and classroom presentations.
• YCT, HSK certification or other recognized evidence of Mandarin proficiency is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Mandarin lessons with emphasis on listening and speaking before reading and writing.
• Use games, visual aids, real-life situations, role-play, songs, and interactive activities.
• Develop lesson plans, learning activities, and assessments based on the curriculum and learning objectives.
• Create Mandarin-based projects to apply the language through presentations, performances, or collaborative tasks.
• Maintain a positive, engaging classroom environment and encourage confident Mandarin use.
