A global tire manufacturer is seeking an Energy Manager to oversee energy and water performance management at their Cikarang site. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Job description

Animate the dynamic energy and water progress plan, ensure the energy and the water performance of the site. Guarantee the Lean water and energy approach on the site.

Key Expected Achievements:

In this role, you will ensure our site meets Group objectives for energy, CO₂, and water performance by:

Define

  • Develop and update a 5-year strategic plan and annual targets for energy and water, aligned with Group ambitions.
  • Present performance roadmap annually to site management and integrate targets into operational plans.

Measure

  • Ensure accurate data for energy and water indicators.
  • Monitor and calculate performance KPIs, set consumption standards, and maintain reliable flow diagrams and metering systems.
  • Conduct self-diagnostics and ensure digital monitoring systems are in place.

Analyze

  • Review and communicate performance results.
  • Support site activities in improving usage, participate in diagnostics, and assess maintenance plan effectiveness.

Improve

  • Apply best practices, optimize costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Share feedback to improve network knowledge and new designs.
  • Contribute to contract optimization and follow up on annual action plans.

Control & Engage

  • Lead progress initiatives, awareness campaigns, and working groups across site teams.
  • Maintain Lean Energy & Water approach and participate in internal knowledge-sharing networks.
  • Potentially support Group-level projects, audits, and diagnostics, and coach peers in complex sites.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Energy, Electronic, Physic, Mechanical or related field).
  • Minimum 3 years’ proven experience in Energy within manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Experience in energy, CO₂, and water performance management.
  • Knowledge of metering systems, diagnostics, and best practices in energy/water optimization.
  • Strong leadership & team development skills.
  • Proactive in process and organizational improvements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English (B2).
  • Willingness to be based in Cikarang, West Java.
