Job summary

Oriental Sheet Piling, a unit of ArcelorMittal, seeks a Technical Sales Engineer for the Energy Industry in Tangerang. On-site role focusing on converting opportunities from early feasibility to project execution, coordinating with owners, EPCs, and suppliers to deliver steel foundation products and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/civil/materials or related field.
• 3–7 years in Energy/EPC technical sales or related roles.
• Experience with EPC contractors, project owners, consultants, fabricators, or procurement groups.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, datasheets, MTO/BOQ, specs.
• Knowledge of steel grades, tolerances, certification and traceability.
• Familiarity with ASTM/API/ASME/AWS/EN/ISO/JIS standards.
• EN 10204 3.1/3.2 certification, inspection and testing knowledge.
• Understanding of EPC/FEED project stages and vendor qualification.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, Power, Renewable Energy, Offshore/Marine.
• Build relationships with project owners, EPCs, consultants, fabricators, procurement teams.
• Engage during feasibility/FEED to develop project opportunities.
• Monitor tenders, FEED activities and market developments for pipeline growth.
• Review RFQs and technical docs to determine requirements.
• Coordinate with mills and suppliers on capability and compliance.
• Prepare technical-commercial proposals with clear scope and delivery.
• Participate in tender clarifications and negotiations through order award.
