Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for embedded systems, including diagnosing device-to-platform communication issues.
- Manage firmware configuration, parameter tuning, and deployment readiness to meet project requirements.
- Configure protocols like MQTT, TR-069, or SNMP for secure and stable data exchange.
- Evaluate embedded technologies (e.g., embedded Linux, router SDKs, low-level protocols) to optimize deployment and performance.
- Use tools like Wireshark, serial terminals, and network
- debuggers to analyze real-time protocol behavior and errors.
- Automate diagnostics and data collection with Python or Shell scripts for efficient testing and configuration.
- Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deploy and monitor embedded solutions in production.
- Maintain technical documentation for configurations, SOPs, firmware versions, and device integration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related technical field.
- Experience with embedded systems, device configuration, or communication protocols.
- Skilled in firmware configuration and parameter tuning for system integration.
- Familiar with protocols like MQTT, TR-069, SNMP, and IP networking (NAT, VPN, routing).
- Hands-on with embedded Linux, router/gateway hardware, and protocol analyzers.
- Experience in device provisioning and configuration for edge or remote deployments.
- Exposure to SD-WAN or similar distributed network architectures.
- Able to run trials or simulations of embedded workflows in near-production setups.
