Job Description

• Termination and connection of wiring (power cables, control cables) on electrical switchboards, distribution boards, starting panel boards, and other control boards.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as Ohm meters, voltmeters, and other instruments to ensure capability and safety.
• Test electrical characteristics such as voltage, resistance, current, and phase angle using electrical meters.
• Laying electrical cables on cable ladders, conduits, penetrations, and glands.
• Secure electrical or electronic equipment, devices, and fixtures from potential damage during workshop and vessel operations.
• Capable of termination, cable pulling, and glanding.
• Follow safety rules and regulations as set forth in the Occupational Health & Safety Policy and Environmental Policy of the yard.

Job Requirements

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Diploma or technical qualification in a related subject.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within an oil and gas company.
• Good knowledge of technical terminology, especially regarding Trades Works Instructions and Procedures.
