A leading Indonesian petrochemical company is seeking an Electrical Supervisor for a 1-year contract position. The role involves overseeing electrical construction and testing activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, and providing leadership to the electrical team. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering and have at least 7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sector.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the electrical team’s construction, installation, and testing activities.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with quality and safety standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and punch list closure of electrical systems.
  • Coordinate quality inspections and prepare checklists with the QC team or engineering department.
  • Plan troubleshooting activities during pre-commissioning and commissioning phases with engineering.
  • Provide training and guidance to the electrical team.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on project status.
  • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, other departments, and third parties.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, legislation, and sustainability guidelines, following international standards and company practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects as an electrical supervisor, with strong understanding of electrical systems and complex installations.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, coordination, reporting, and supervision.
  • Technical knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience with quality inspection activities.
  • Experience with Site Acceptance Tests, testing, and commissioning.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

This is a contract position (1 year) based at the site office project.
