Job summary

A leading electrical engineering company in Indonesia is seeking a qualified Electrical QA/QC Inspector to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards. The candidate will perform site inspections, monitor electrical installations, and coordinate with project personnel. The ideal candidate has 3–10 years of experience in oil and gas projects and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. A strong command of English and excellent documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of relevant QC experience in oil & gas (onshore/offshore), petrochemical, or refinery projects.
• Experience with EPC contractors or in major oil and gas projects preferred.
• Have QC or Electrical Certification will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily site inspections and monitor all electrical works and installations.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor work for compliance with specifications.
• Review and interpret project specifications and construction drawings.
• Conduct inspections at various project stages.
• Witness and verify electrical testing.
• Maintain proper documentation.
• Coordinate with QA/QC Manager and client representatives.
• Assist in preparation of final dossiers for project handover.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards.

To ensure that all electrical installations and systems are executed according to project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. Responsible for inspection, documentation, testing, and quality assurance of electrical work on-site.

Job Descriptions:

• Perform daily site inspections and monitor all electrical works and installations.

• Monitor contractor and subcontractor work for compliance with specifications and approved drawings.

• Review and interpret project specifications, construction or electrical drawings, and standards

• Conduct inspections at various project stages – pre-installation, during installation, and final completion.

• Witness and verify electrical testing

• Maintain proper documentation

• Coordinate with QA/QC Manager, project engineers, and client representatives for quality inspections.

• Assist in preparation of final dossiers for project handover.

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all inspection activities.
