A leading company in the oil and gas sector is seeking a Quality Control Engineer to oversee electrical installations and ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. The candidate will perform inspections, manage documentation, and collaborate with project teams to guarantee quality assurance and effective outcomes. This role is ideal for individuals with relevant experience and strong communication skills, especially in high-stakes environments.
To ensure that all electrical installations and systems are executed according to project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. Responsible for inspection, documentation, testing, and quality assurance of electrical work on-site.
Job Descriptions:
Perform daily site inspections and monitor all electrical works and installations.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor work for compliance with specifications and approved drawings.
Review and interpret project specifications, construction or electrical drawings, and standards
Conduct inspections at various project stages – pre-installation, during installation, and final completion.
Witness and verify electrical testing
Maintain proper documentation
Coordinate with QA/QC Manager, project engineers, and client representatives for quality inspections.
Assist in preparation of final dossiers for project handover.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards in all inspection activities.
High School, Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
3–10 years of relevant QC experience in oil & gas (onshore/offshore), petrochemical, or refinery projects.
Prior experience with EPC contractors or in major oil and gas projects preferred.
Have QC or Electrical Certification will be advantage
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Fluent in English (spoken and written)
Excellent understanding of industry codes and standards
