A professional services provider in Indonesia is seeking a Power Engineer for Loss Adjuster to investigate insurance claims related to power plant damages. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a strong understanding of power systems, and proficiency in English. Responsibilities include conducting inspections and preparing detailed reports while working in various locations. This position demands strong teamwork and adaptability to flexible working hours.
Reporting to the head of PCTSR Department, Power Engineer for Loss Adjuster investigates insurance claims on behalf of the insurer. They promptly visit the damaged object to obtain all necessary facts once a claim is logged.
To carry out survey/inspection of power plant damages particular occurring within various industries to ascertain, nature, circumstances and extent of damage sustained.
To prepare concise, comprehensive reports in a timely manner, adhering to the guidelines set out by the company.
To be available for surveys outside regular working hours, including weekends and public holidays as and when required. To ensure daily reporting of movements when working offsite, via text or e-mail.
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Power Systems), mechanical engineering, or a related field from overseas university (degrees taught in English).
Possess a strong understanding of power plant systems, including boilers, turbines, generators, and control systems.
Relevant certifications and licenses in power plant operations and managements are advantageous.
Highly proficient in English, reflected by IELTS score 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 100 or TOEFL PBT 600.
Prepared to work as a team, willing to travel throughout Indonesia particularly in remote area and work in flexi-time hours.
Computer Literate, willing to work under tight deadline and adapt to desk-bound and remote working scheme.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, dynamic, and proactive.
