Detailed Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer at Elabram in Jakarta, you will serve as a foundational technical contributor driving the electrical architecture, solution development, and execution of complex data center builds. Your daily responsibilities will encompass designing electrical (ELE) solutions, producing engineering drawings, generating BOQs, and clarifying technical specifications with international clients and equipment suppliers. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure all electrical infrastructure meets stringent data center reliability standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive electrical (ELE) solutions, engineering schematics, single-line diagrams, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Develop and deliver robust electrical solutions aligned with system architecture and vendor product specifications.
• Conduct technical discussions, clarifications, and alignment meetings with clients, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Support the complete lifecycle design, installation oversight, and delivery of large-scale data center projects.
• Coordinate electrical technical requirements to ensure seamless integration with mechanical, cooling, and IT systems.
• Manage electrical capacity planning and design reviews specifically for data center facilities greater than 5MW.
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure strict compliance with international electrical codes and safety standards.
• Author technical specifications, method of procedures (MOPs), and engineering compliance reports.
• Coordinate proactively with project managers and site engineering teams to resolve on-site technical bottlenecks.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, design logs, and vendor submittal tracking registers.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional experience as an Electrical Engineer in infrastructure projects.
• Proven background working within Telecommunication, Power Systems, or Data Center construction projects.
• Strong hands‑on capability in Electrical Design, Engineering Drawings, BOQ preparation, and Technical Solutions.
• Direct, verifiable experience designing or delivering Data Center projects greater than 5MW.
• Good understanding of system architecture, electrical distribution products, and solution delivery frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English for effective client technical consultations.
• Mandatory residency/work authorization: Ability to operate within Jakarta, Indonesia.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Professional engineering licensure or certifications (e.g., PE, EET, or local engineering credentials).
• Prior experience working with major global technology vendors such as Huawei in critical facility builds.
• Advanced proficiency in electrical simulation and CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETAP).
• Experience with renewable energy integration, UPS battery backup systems, and generator synchronization.
• Immediate availability for local mobilization in Jakarta.
