Job description

Area Sales Manager (Precision Linear Motion)

Serve as the local representative in Indonesia, reporting directly to the General Manager in Singapore.

Identify and develop new business opportunities, especially in factory automation, OEMs, machine builders, and high-tech industries.

Deliver strong, consultative sales presentations for linear guides, ballscrews, actuators, and motion solutions tailored to automation applications.

Build and manage long-term customer relationships through direct visits, calls, and online meetings.

Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.

Track pipeline and sales performance on a regular basis; prepare accurate forecasts and reports.

Handle technical inquiries, quotations, and resolve customer escalations in coordination with the regional team

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics) or Business, with 3–5 years' experience in industrial or automation-related sales in Indonesia.

Strong technical background in motion control, automation systems, or mechanical components.

Demonstrated success in selling to automation clients and navigating technical buying processes.

Familiar with Indonesia’s customs, duties, and logistics practices.

Strong communication and presentation skills (English required), able to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders.

Entrepreneurial, self-starting, and results-oriented—comfortable building a market from scratch.

Proficient with PowerPoint and CRM tools; detail-oriented and strategic.
