Job description

Join PT Amtra Electric as Quality Control (QC) Manager. This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Office and Factory in Tigaraksa, Kab. Tangerang, Banten. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Control and Assurance functions to ensure that all transformer products meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee inspection, testing, and verification of raw materials and finished goods to ensure conformity with quality standards.
2. Identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
3. Develop and monitor quality performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of quality systems and processes.
4. Lead the Quality Control team by providing strategic direction, training, and technical guidance.
5. Ensure production process quality assurance.
6. Analyze product failures & process failures in relation to continuous improvement systems.
7. Provide guidance for troubleshooting in the field.
8. Ensure the reliability of measuring instruments.
9. Coordinate the execution of site services related to product quality or testing.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a SPV/Manager Quality Control within the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, IEC 60076, IEC 61227, SPLN D3.002-1, CAD 2D, and relevant regulatory requirements.
4. Proficient in quality management tools such as Six Sigma, Fishbone diagram, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
5. Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
6. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and auditors.
7. Hands-on experience conducting internal and external quality audits.
