Regional Sales Manager - Fast Moving Consumer Goods
An established and leading Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company based in Jakarta is seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the position of Regional Sales Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales plan based on the annual sales targets, leading the team to achieve volume and revenue goals for the assigned region (selling in & selling out).
- Create promotion and activation program plans within the company's goals and budget to meet sales targets.
- Ensure the implementation of brand activities in the area, aligning with approved marketing policies and guidelines.
- Innovate initiatives and ideas to enhance market share and sales volume.
- Identify sales growth opportunities and new channel development within the region.
- Design and support coverage strategies based on regional demographics, outlet profiles, and business potential.
- Set and communicate KPIs (sales, distribution, visibility, phasing) for the sales team, ensuring alignment with trade marketing standards.
- Manage distributor relationships, valuation, and record-keeping to partner with the best distributors.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process through distributor partners, focusing on stock management, service levels, coverage, AR, AP, and reporting, with continuous process improvements.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals to identify strengths and areas for improvement within the team.
- Achieve sales targets by maximizing promotional activities and sales efforts.
- Monitor competitors and market trends, providing feedback and strategic suggestions to head office for better market positioning.
- Implement sales strategies through Area Sales Managers and Supervisors.
- Promote and uphold the company's values at all organizational levels.
- Prepare and submit sales reports directly to the Head of Sales at head office in Jakarta.
- Lead, manage, coach, and develop the sales team within the region.
The Successful Applicant :
- Willing to work in SEMARANG.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales Management and Distributor Management within the FMCG industry.
- At least 3 years in a similar position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and interact with diverse groups and organizational levels.
- Highly sales-driven with high energy levels.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with sound business judgment.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to lead a sales team to achieve company goals.
