A leading company in Indonesia is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive sales and customer satisfaction. This role involves acquiring new clients, providing technical support, and collaborating with local teams to enhance brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and proven sales experience.
Role Overview:
This role is responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customers to ensure high renewal and customer satisfaction levels. Measures of success include new customer acquisition rates, renewal rates, upselling, cross-selling, customer satisfaction, and contribution to overall sales team and business success.
Sales Engineer
Cooperate closely with the local Product Managers to define actions to extend igus product sales in the defined region.
Drive sales activities for bearings products across the region to ensure revenue and profitability growth of the igus Indonesia organization.
Actively visit customers and business partners, build your local network to support the company’s growth (finding new potential clients, business partners, and additional talents).
You will be instrumental in expanding our customer base, reaching new clients and markets, and driving sales growth (including KPI setting).
Research and implement marketing campaigns and activities such as trade shows, advertising, press releases, mailings, seminars, “smart attack” & “smart defense” in line with igus’ best practices and global marketing strategies to promote the “Plastics for Longer Life” vision.
Provide technical product counseling and training, engineering support, and solutions that help clients find cost-effective solutions.
Support brand awareness of igus products across Indonesia.
Be a strong local leader, role model, and team player—contributing and collaborating with the ASEAN team to meet the company’s growth objectives.
Dimension:
This role is part of the rapidly growing igus team across Asia.
It involves providing sales advice and technical support to clients, acting as the technical encyclopedia during sales of goods and services.
Work closely with other sales personnel and departments such as customer service, inside sales, and product managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
