Job description

At House of Om, we are more than just a yoga school — we are a vibrant community dedicated to holistic wellness, conscious living, and inner growth. Our mission is to spread the teachings of yoga with integrity and love, both on and off the mat.

As we expand our impact and grow globally, we are seeking an experienced and values-aligned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team and help steward the school’s financial vision with clarity, stability, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Financial Planning: Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with the school’s mission and growth objectives.

Budget Management: Oversee annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments (online courses, retreats, teacher training programs, etc.).

Financial Reporting: Produce accurate financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external compliance.

Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage day-to-day cash flow and advise on capital allocation to ensure the school’s long-term viability.

Compliance & Risk: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax compliance, and non-profit or for-profit laws (as applicable).

Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as a key member of the leadership team; communicate financial goals in a way that supports a conscious, purpose-driven culture.

Systems & Tools: Optimize accounting systems, billing processes, and financial tracking tools for efficiency and transparency.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as CFO, Head of Finance, or similar leadership role (ideally in education, wellness, or nonprofit sectors).

CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent credentials preferred.

Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting, compliance, and financial modeling.

Familiarity with financial management tools (e.g., Xero).

Passion for wellness, mindfulness, and/or yoga is a plus.
