A leading company in Indonesia is seeking a Chief Mining Officer (CMO) to oversee mining operations, develop strategies, and ensure compliance. PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk or its subsidiaries are looking for high potential candidates to be employed as Chief Mining Officer (CMO) with the following details:
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related fields. Professional certifications are a plus.
Minimum 20 years of experience in the mining industry, with at least 10 years in executive or senior leadership roles.
Strong background in both operational and strategic aspects of mining, including exploration, production, and site development.
Deep understanding of mine planning, safety regulations, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices.
Proven track record in leading large-scale coal mining operations and managing multidisciplinary teams.
Solid technical knowledge in mining engineering and processing technologies.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, including local communities, regulatory bodies, and joint venture partners.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align mining operations with broader business objectives.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Job Descriptions:
Lead the company’s overall mining operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance across all sites.
Develop and execute long-term mining strategies aligned with the company’s business goals.
Oversee exploration, development, production, and reclamation activities.
Ensure optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency across all mining operations.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in mine productivity, safety, and sustainability.
Collaborate with engineering, finance, and project teams to support technical and commercial assessments.
Establish strong relationships with regulators, partners, and local communities to ensure smooth operational continuity.

Power generationThe Company directly operates 4 (four) captive power plants located in Tangerang, Serang, Karawang-1 and Karawang-2 with a total capacity of 300 MW. Tangerang and Serang power plants produce electricity and steam for PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk, while Karawang-1 and Karawang-2 power plants produce electricity and steam for PT Pindo Deli Pulp & Paper Mills. Coal mining and tradingCoal mining and trading business line are run by PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (“GEMS”) and its subsidiaries, as well as PT Andalan Satria Lestari (“ASL”) and its subsidiaries. PT Rolimex Kimia Nusamas engages in trading of fertilizers, pesticides, and chemicals. The products are imported from overseas and sold to customers in Indonesia. The majority of the business of PT Rolimex Kimia Nusamas is currently associated with the subsidiaries of Sinarmas group. Multimedia Multimeda business line is run by PT Innovate Mas Indonesia and PT Eka Mas Republik, the Company’s subsidiaries.
