Job description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Supervisor to oversee and manage tax operations within a shared services environment for Daewoong Indonesia. This role will ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, optimize processes, and coordinate across departments and regions to meet global and local tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily tax operations managed by the shared service center, including VAT, withholding tax, corporate income tax, and other regulatory filings.

Review and ensure accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g., VAT, CIT, WHT) in compliance with Indonesia tax laws and international tax standards.

Perform tax reconciliations between general ledger and tax reports.

Monitor tax reporting deadlines and ensure timely submission to authorities.

Provide technical support and guidance to the tax team on complex tax issues.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, accounting) and external advisors or auditors.

Support tax audits, dispute resolutions, and correspondence with tax authorities.

Stay up to date on changes in local and international tax laws (e.g., BEPS, OECD, transfer pricing regulations).

Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to tax automation or system enhancements.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (Master's Degree is a plus).

Minimum 5-10 years of progressive experience in taxation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Previous experience in a multinational company or shared service center is highly preferred.

Certification in taxation (e.g., Brevet A & B or equivalent) is required; Brevet C or international tax certification is a plus.

Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations principles.

Proficient in tax software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
