A leading human resource technology company in Bekasi is seeking a Production Management Staff who is a Japanese speaker. This role involves creating production schedules, coordinating with manufacturers, and ensuring quality improvements. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and business-level English, along with JLPT N2 proficiency in Japanese. Frequent travel is expected for business trips.
Create and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and order plans from Japan headquarters.
Coordinate with Original Equipment Manufacturer and Original Design Manufacturer factories on delivery schedules, production progress, and shipment control.
Manage sample development and monitor the transition to mass production.
Monitor procurement of raw materials, sub-materials, molds, and other production resources.
Detect potential production delays and take preventive actions accordingly.
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to support quality improvements and reduce defect rates.
Evaluate factory production capacity and suggest improvements to optimize operations.
Coordinate with logistics teams for domestic and ASEAN export schedules.
Prepare regular production reports and submit updates to Japan headquarters.
Visit factories when necessary to handle on-site issues and provide troubleshooting support.
Handle internal coordination, documentation, and continuous process improvement related to production activities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any major
Language: Business-level English and JLPT N2
Experience: Prior experience as a Merchandiser or Production Staff in a garment company is a plus
Willingness to travel frequently for business trips
Willing to attend offline (in-person) interviews
