Position Summary

As a Strategic Buyer, you will be responsible for implementing your own scope of market spend category strategies, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates, and policies, and applying the Nestlé Standardized Procurement Model. You will contribute to the strategic development of the category and ensure the efficient implementation of the strategy.

A day in the life of…

• Implement the category strategies using the Strategic Sourcing Process tools, templates, and policies.
• Conduct supplier market analysis, category analysis, and supply risk analysis; develop TCO understanding and map sourcing processes and channels within the category, identifying areas for improvement.
• Participate in developing the Above Market Sourcing Strategy.
• Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s corporate principles, policies, standards, procurement policies, the Standardized Procurement Model, and the Nestlé Supplier Code.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders to align category plans with local budgets and price planning processes.
• Integrate innovation, renovation, and post-award cost improvements from suppliers into Nestlé's innovation and renovation processes.
• Lead planning and regular contract SLA reviews with suppliers and other functions such as quality, in partnership with SRM experts.
• Ensure effective contract management, including supplier agreements, SAP contracts, purchasing info records, and master data management.

What will make you successful

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering.
• Over 5 years of experience implementing sourcing strategies across different spend categories.
• Experience as a Sourcing Specialist in one or more categories, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process.
• Proven success in risk management, responsible sourcing, and supplier relationship management.
• Strong negotiation skills.
