Job Description:

Responsibilities

  1. Perform fundamental calculations for MEP system requirements.
  2. Understand customer needs, including budget and timeline.
  3. Create design concepts for the MEP system considering efficiency and operational reliability.
  4. Provide a design concept brief (Terms of Reference) to the MEP consultants.
  5. Develop a schedule for the completion of MEP design drawings.
  6. Coordinate design efforts with architects, interior designers, structural engineers, and landscape professionals.
  7. Provide a set of MEP design drawings to the in-house Quantity Surveyor or QS consultant as a reference for Bill of Quantities (BQ) calculations.
  8. Provide outline specifications for MEP equipment to the QS as a reference for vendor quotations.
  9. Review MEP shop drawings from contractors.
