Responsibilities
- Research companies to contact.
- Initiate relationships with potential Managers or CEOs.
- Craft emails to convey the value of our HRIS and book introductory meetings.
- Make cold and warm calls to follow up or preempt email communications, manage the entire sales cycle, including demos and closing.
- Experiment with outreach strategies to identify effective methods.
- Collaborate with engineering and customer success teams to deliver product feedback and feature requests.
- Identify new opportunities for Accounting or HR Software to expand our footprint.
- Work with marketing to discover lead opportunities and set appointments.
- Utilize strong selling and influencing skills to set qualified appointments.
- Maintain customer contact records.
- Participate in community networking activities to promote our software solutions.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confidence speaking with mid-level and senior executives.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, results-focused, and competitive.
- Desire to achieve results and improve daily.
- Experience in sales or marketing is a plus but not mandatory.
- 1-2 years of experience in cold calling and selling SaaS or IT products (preferably from SMEs/SMBs), or a fresh graduate with relevant motivation.
- Track record of over-achieving quotas is a plus.
- Proficiency with productivity and web presentation tools.
- Positive attitude, hustle, resilience, and receptiveness to feedback.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to self-manage.
- Experience selling to HR Managers, CEOs, Accountants, or Finance Managers is a plus. Comfortable working in a small, distributed team.
