A leading company in sustainable natural rubber development seeks an Environmental Specialist to manage waste and ensure compliance with environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental management, experience in the plantation industry, and relevant certifications.
Updating environment-related regulations
Lead the team to prepare Amdal, Pertek and Rintek documents
Manage Rubber latex industry waste
Manage domestic household waste
Manage hazardous and toxic waste
Manage integrated waste disposal sites (3R)
Assist with document and field completeness of audit compliance
Create mandatory reports both hard copy and on line, to the relevant agencies
Conduct inspections of operational activities and workers related to the environment
Provide training to workers related of hazardous waste management, provide training to waste collectors.
Create a good environmental governance work program.
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in any related field.
Minimum 5 years experiences in environmental activities.
Experience in Plantation industry and Rubber raw material processing plant is preferred.
Have certification of General AK3, ISO 14001-2015, ISO 50001-2011.
Having SMK3 Auditor certification, environment related Auditor, Amdal is preferred.
Understand regulations related to Environmental Management and Work Environment.
Understand the process of preparing environmental permit documents, such as AMDAL, Technical Details and Technical Approval.
Have managed B3 and B3 Waste, industrial liquid waste, domestic liquid waste, and domestic waste.
Have conducted RKL-RPL reporting and SIMPEL web access, SIRAJA LIMBAH.
Have conducted carbon value calculations and efforts to reduce emissions.
Understand the analysis of environmental parameters and work environment.
Proficient in English, both speaking and writing, is an added advantage.

In July 2022, the Michelin Group fully acquired RLU and all its subsidiaries. RLU also received satisfactory results of Integrated HCV HCS Assessment, through its subsidiaries PT Lestari Asri Jaya (LAJ) and PT Wanamukti Wisesa (WW).
