Job Title: Channel Sales Engineer (Civil / Survey)

Location: Hybrid, Jakarta, Indonesia

What You Will Do

This role will directly interface with the Asia Regional Channel Director and local manager to implement dealer development activities aimed at increasing sales of Trimble products and services. The successful candidate will work with Trimble's distributor management, sales teams, and Technical Sales Support to provide product training, assist with job site demonstrations/evaluations, and ensure professional practices in installing, commissioning, and training on Trimble's Construction portfolio.

The candidate will also provide insights on competitive products, market activities, and evaluate marketplace potential across all served markets and customer segments. A hunter mentality and business development skills are essential to expand market penetration objectives.

Skills & Experience
  • Degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Digital/BIM Constructions.
  • Proven experience in civil, construction, surveying, machine control, or related industries.
  • Strategy development and workflow planning with partners to increase revenue contributions.
  • Channel development planning, follow-up, and ROI analysis.
  • Forecasting pipeline growth and managing ROI of MDF spend.
  • Developing enablement roadmaps to build partner sales and technical competence.
  • Participating in regional cadence calls and distributor QBRs to align channel development with sales strategies.
  • Mechanical and educational aptitude for heavy equipment machine control.
  • Sales experience in the construction environment.
  • Sense of urgency, motivation, and ability to handle sensitive situations.
  • Team player with solution-oriented mindset and multitasking ability.
  • Decision-making skills based on customer needs and technical knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel within Indonesia and occasionally overseas.
Location

This position offers a hybrid work model from Trimble’s office in Indonesia.
