About Our Client

We are currently partnering with one of the leading data center companies in Indonesia, who is looking for a competent Senior Engineering Manager to help them in this time of growth.

Job Description

• Support all regional DC projects through all project phases as the Mechanical/Electrical Subject Matter Expert.
• Review and recommend good engineering design and workflow practices for DC. During the review, the person must be familiar with the impact to structure, Architectural, Space management, M&E Systems, and IT/Network.
• Reduce DC carbon footprint and promote Green Data Center in both the Design and Operations by leveraging industry best practices and applying BCA Green Mark/LEED and similar requirements.
• Review both engineering and workflow prepared by consultants during project development.
• Assist in the Technical evaluation of the key M&E equipment selection during the project development.
• Assess both Commissionability as well as Concurrent Maintainability of the design prepared by consultants.
• Lead the Commissionability of the project and ensure the commissioning of the M&E systems are diligently carried out.
• Work with the team to review Risk Assessment, Business Continuity Plan, and Disaster Recovery procedures throughout the project development.
• Support commissioning activities and owner witnessing around the globe.
• Lead Engineering Team on large or complicated Data Center Projects.
• Develop personnel within engineering specialization area and review work within area of specialization performed by others.

The Successful Applicant

• Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• More than 10 years of engineering working experience in Mission Critical environment with Design and Practical Construction experience.
• Project Management qualification or training in the Engineering and Constructing industry is an advantage.
• Professional specialist in engineering development within MEP system with a good knowledge of BCA GreenMark or LEED guidelines.
• Well versed in the Indonesia SNI & ASHRAE; familiarity with TIA 942 and Uptime Institute is preferred.
• Experienced in Commissioning (IST) for Mission Critical facilities (24x7) e.g., Telecommunication, Data Centers, etc.
• Able to articulate related projects with a minimum project value of more than $200m (both green and brown field projects).
• Strong written and communication skills; multiple regional language skills are an advantage.
