About Our Client

We are currently partnering with one of the leading data center companies in Indonesia, who is looking for a competent Senior Project Manager to help them in this time of growth.

Job Description

  • Champion the project to zero harm and compliance to corporate and project HSE requirements
  • Provide strategic input, experience and expertise to organise, set-up and expedite the project for success
  • Administer consultant and contractor, including maintaining strict compliance with the contract, scope of work and compliance with project specs
  • Establish and maintain overall project delivery plan, including the cost, schedule, quality and performance baseline
  • Coordinate owners requirements and inputs to the project, including compliance with end user requirements
  • Coordinate authority, third party and stakeholder interfaces such as Project Approvals and Power Supply Connection
  • Deploy and manage 3rd party project team members, internal and external, in delivery against agreed scope of services
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, discipline inter-relationships, construction sequencing and project schedule
  • Monitor and follow up on each project phase of the projects (greenfield & brownfield) ensuring each discipline execute their scope of work in strict compliance to the contract documents
  • Ensure all project controls and deliverables are adhered to
  • Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks and champion project opportunities
  • Establish and maintain communication protocols across the project, including from internal departments and other stakeholders
  • Communicate and report internally on project status, including weekly and monthly project dashboards
  • Manage project budget and costs, including the change management process
  • Manage project schedule, including critical path analysis and work around planning
  • Establishment of the overall project plan
  • Manage the bid and evaluation of required project consultants and contractors, including coordinating required management approvals
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders to assist during RFQ process
  • Establish and gain agreement of the acceptance criteria with end user
  • Manage the delivery/transition of the projects to end users in accordance with acceptance criteria
  • Maintain project documentation

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Master level preferred
  • Project Management qualification or similar equivalent training in the Engineering and Construction industry
  • Experience managing projects both consultant/contractor and owners sides
  • Minimum 15 years Project Management experience for Data Center or other related Mission Critical (24x) environment projects
  • Project Management experience with a minimum project value of $200m (both green and brown field projects)
  • Experienced in full-lifecycle Project Management from design and feasibility through to close-out and DLP
  • Demonstrated career progression in Engineering and Construction
  • Ability to plan, organise and manage an international team of multi-disciplined resource
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Strong communication skills is essential
