Job description

The Merchandise Manager is primarily responsible for monitoring, designing, and implementing merchandise strategies. Additionally, the Merchandise Manager must allocate products appropriately for distribution to each region to meet sales targets and control sales movements across regions and stores.

Responsibilities:

1. Research, analyze, and develop new ideas to improve products, aligned with fashion themes and customer experience.
2. Analyze market trends to maintain competitiveness.
3. Supervise and follow up on product development, samples, and deadlines within the merchandise team.
4. Conduct market surveys, buying trips, and develop buying plans.
5. Communicate daily with suppliers regarding product and sample checking, and ensure on-time delivery schedules.
6. Supervise container loading, including preparing lists of articles, checking shipment statuses, and ensuring collections and container loads are timely.
7. Check and supervise product distribution, analyze inventory turnover, identify best sellers, slow movers, and manage repeat orders.
8. Monitor merchandise performance and plan clearance activities.
9. Visit stores to monitor conditions, promotions, window displays, and warehouse distribution.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or Product Design.
2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position or related field (fashion retail).
3. Strong interest in fashion trends.
4. Knowledge of fashion retail.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
6. Ability to work independently and in a team.
