We are seeking a passionate Cook with a deep understanding of holistic nutrition and yogic dietary principles to join our retreat team. You will be responsible for preparing fresh, high-vibration meals that align with our values of health, sustainability, and mindfulness. This is more than a cooking job — it’s an opportunity to contribute to a transformative experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily vegan meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) that are wholesome, balanced, and nourishing.

• Develop and execute weekly menus that align with yogic and Ayurvedic guidelines (e.g., sattvic, detox-friendly).

• Ensure meals are visually appealing, flavorful, and made with love and intention.

• Use fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.

• Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen in accordance with hygiene and safety standards.

• Support food-related needs during special events, workshops, or teacher training programs.

• Manage food inventory and communicate purchasing needs.

• Respect and accommodate dietary requirements and allergies (e.g., gluten-free, nut-free).

• Contribute to a harmonious, mindful work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years experience in plant-based cooking, preferably in a yoga school, retreat center, or wellness-focused environment.

• Knowledge of sattvic, Ayurvedic, and holistic nutrition principles is highly desirable.

• Culinary creativity and passion for vegan cuisine.

• Calm, grounded, and respectful presence in line with yogic values.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene.
