Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and corporate finance. As a key member of the executive team, the CFO will lead the company's financial strategy and drive high-impact initiatives, including capital market activities, financing, and M&A transactions. This position is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading transformational growth in the natural resources and mining sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capital Market Leadership:
    Lead and manage capital market strategies, including equity and debt financing, IPO preparation, and public/private placements. Establish and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and analysts to ensure access to capital for growth initiatives and financial stability.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
    Spearhead the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A opportunities. Oversee due diligence processes, financial modeling, negotiation of deal terms, and post-transaction integration. Work closely with legal, financial, and operational teams to execute successful transactions that align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Corporate Finance & Strategy:
    Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process to ensure alignment with the company's short and long-term strategic goals. Oversee corporate finance operations, including cash flow management, capital allocation, and debt structuring. Provide in-depth financial analysis to support key business decisions and growth strategies.
  • Financial Reporting & Governance:
    Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, adhering to regulatory and governance standards. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for the board, executive team, and shareholders. Implement robust financial controls, compliance measures, and risk management practices to safeguard the company's assets.
  • Executive Leadership:
    Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, providing financial insights and recommendations on corporate restructuring, investments, and overall business strategy. Influence business growth by identifying new financial opportunities and driving innovation in financial processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields (MBA or CFA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in corporate finance, capital markets, and M&A, preferably within the natural resources, mining, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven track record of leading successful M&A transactions, capital raising, and corporate restructuring efforts.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesia's capital markets, regulatory environment, and financial reporting standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with experience working with C-suite executives, board members, and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in financial modeling, risk management, and strategic financial planning.
