Role Purpose

The Education Counsellor will provide excellent guidance to international students, helping them find institutions that align with their learning and career goals. This includes offering information on UK study opportunities, local education systems, culture, and geography, assisting with application documentation, facilitating enrollments, and promoting IDP products and services.

Key Accountabilities

• Achieve pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets by guiding students through each stage of their journey, promoting products/services, managing leads and applications, seeking referrals, participating in events, and maintaining the database.
• Provide outstanding customer service to students, families, and education providers, including planning engagement activities, offering clear information about admissions and qualifications, and maintaining proactive communication.

Required Experience

• Experience in sales or customer service environments, with a track record of achieving targets.
• Knowledge of the education sector, student placement into VET and universities, and immigration requirements.
• Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s or Postgraduate Degree (any field); UK graduate experience and/or prior experience as an Education Counsellor are preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Willingness to work from our Omni Channel Pekanbaru Office - Meetup Coworking Space Pekanbaru.
