JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Student Consultant in the Sales department at VISTA Education, you will provide guidance and support to prospective students and their families, helping them develop overseas study plans, choose suitable majors, and identify necessary English language courses. This role combines sales, consultation, and relationship-building to drive enrollments and contribute to VISTA’s mission of elevating educational opportunities. You will also maintain student records, attend training, and represent the institution at educational events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide personalized consultations to students and parents on study abroad options, including country selection, university/major choices, and English course recommendations tailored to their goals.
- Convert consultations into successful enrollments by using solution-based selling techniques, maintaining follow-up discipline, and consistently meeting individual and team sales targets.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, schools, and partners through empathetic communication, responsiveness, and a service-oriented mindset.
- Maintain accurate and timely student records using internal systems to ensure effective communication, follow-up tracking, and data integrity throughout the student journey.
- Stay up-to-date with international education trends, visa requirements, and VISTA’s program offerings by participating in training sessions, internal briefings, and self-directed learning.
- Actively represent VISTA Education at exhibitions, school visits, and other promotional events, delivering compelling presentations to boost brand visibility and attract potential students.
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; however, candidates with at least 1 year of relevant industry experience are preferred.
Skills:
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
