Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and adept security manager to join our team at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort.

As a Security Manager, you will develop and implement efficient security strategies to safeguard our organisation’s assets. You will protect our company and maintain a secure work environment. We seek a highly skilled individual with a deep understanding of security strategies and a proven track record in managing security operations in a luxury hotel.

Objectives of this role

1. Developing and implementing robust security strategies and policies to protect the company’s assets, employees and facilities.
2. Assessing potential risks and vulnerabilities, investigating security breaches and reinforcing appropriate measures to mitigate them.
3. Leading and managing a team of security personnel, including hiring, training and performance management.
4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of security requirements into business processes and projects.
5. Conducting regular security assessments, audits and inspections to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
6. Maintaining and updating emergency response plans, ensuring all employees know their roles and responsibilities.
7. Collaborating with external stakeholders, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security measures and respond to incidents.
8. Fostering a culture of security awareness and training employees on security protocols and procedures.

Qualifications

1. 5+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
2. In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
3. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures and programs.
4. Familiarity with laws, regulations and industry standards pertaining to security and safety in Indonesia.
5. Proficiency in security assessments, audits and investigations at a large scale.
6. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team.
7. Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
9. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
10. Physical fitness and the ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.
