As a member of the HPCC IT team, you will contribute to the design, architecture, and end-to-end deployment in a mixed environment of Linux and Windows operating systems, with a primary emphasis on Linux, both on-premise datacenters and in the public cloud. The primary role will be to support the various Viasat engineers in our existing business and as we continue to grow and deploy new services globally.
Your duties will include tasks such as installing server operating systems, designing, and implementing Linux-focused enterprise-level applications and clusters. You will support operating system issues, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and applications. This role requires remote work on systems located globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems administration background focusing on Linux, with scripting and automation experience.
