Job description

We are looking for a Retail Operations Manager who will be the driving force behind our beauty advisors across Indonesia. This role is all about making things happen—from ensuring sales targets are met to creating unforgettable customer experiences. You will work closely with our sales & marketing team and build strong partnerships with agency partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and Inspire Teams:
    • Set clear performance goals for beauty advisors and ensure they are consistently met or exceeded.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and training to sharpen their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service excellence.
    • Build strong relationships with agency partners, ensuring smooth coordination for recruitment, training, and management of beauty advisors.
  2. Drive Sales Excellence:
    • Develop and implement smart sales strategies tailored to different regions, ensuring consistent growth.
    • Oversee daily operations at retail locations, making sure beauty advisors deliver top-notch service and meet sales targets.
    • Keep your team well-informed about product features, benefits, and application techniques, while staying ahead of local beauty trends.
    • Lead by example in creating exceptional in-store experiences that turn customers into loyal brand advocates.
  3. Champion the Brand:
    • Be a brand ambassador, ensuring beauty advisors maintain a polished, professional image.
    • Work with marketing to plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and events that resonate with local customers.
  4. Analyze and Optimize:
    • Track sales performance, analyze key metrics, and generate clear, actionable reports for senior management.
    • Manage the beauty advisor program budget, balancing training, incentives, and events for maximum impact.
  5. Enhance Customer Experience:
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Actively gather and respond to customer feedback, continuously improving the shopping experience.
    • Lead loyalty program initiatives to boost repeat purchases and brand advocacy.
What We’re Looking For:
  • A Bachelor's degree in any related field.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
  • 3+ years of experience in retail, beauty, or training management—preferably in the beauty or skincare industry, with 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large teams (200+ beauty advisors or sales staff), including those from agency partners.
  • Experience working with third-party agencies is a strong advantage.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
  • A deep understanding of Indonesia’s beauty market, including cultural insights, local trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Sharp analytical skills and a data-driven mindset.
  • A natural leader who can inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
  • Willingness to follow a full Work From Office (WFO) policy at our head office in Mega Kuningan, South Jakarta.
