Assurance - Manager/Senior Manager - Accounting Advisory Services (IFRS 17/9)

As a Manager/Senior Manager, you'll be part of a team solving complex business issues from strategy to execution. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Actively participate in IFRS 17/9 implementation projects for insurance companies.

  2. Support Directors and Partners in supervising and leading IFRS 17/9 projects (for Senior Manager level).

  3. Lead, develop, and mentor junior staff.

  4. Contribute to PwC's IFRS 17/9 market pursuits, initiatives, and activities.

  5. Manage ambiguous and unstructured problems effectively.

  6. Engage in open coaching conversations at all levels.

  7. Balance big-picture thinking with managing relevant details.

  8. Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions proactively.

  9. Contribute technical expertise in your area of specialization.

  10. Foster an environment where people and technology work together effectively.

  11. Navigate complexities of cross-border and diverse teams and engagements.

  12. Build trust through open communication with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

  13. Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Preferred requirements:

  • 7-8 years of experience (Senior Manager level) or 5+ years (Manager level) in the life insurance or consulting field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS 17/9 for the insurance industry or high motivation to become an expert. Experience in Big 4 firms is a plus.
  • Updated knowledge of insurance industry issues and developments.
  • Highly motivated, quick learner, and open to new challenges.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and cross-country teams.
  • Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
