PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

(Include but not limited to:)

  • Help maintain and amend accordingly the dynamic pricing modules for your property portfolio to ensure effective yield management.
  • Assist properties outside your normal portfolio as needed.
  • Ensure all rates are loaded and inventory is correctly maintained.
  • Assist with the management and distribution of rates through various channels and systems such as TravelClick, OTA Extranets, SynXis, and Property Management Systems.
  • Keep properties updated on relevant processes, policies, and promotions.
  • Monitor sales and marketing activities daily to ensure effective yield management to meet or exceed budgets and forecasts.
  • Maintain consistency of resort content across OTA extranets and resort websites.
  • Collaborate with partners to increase distribution through OTAs and other online channels.
  • Work with sales and marketing to drive business through multiple channels including direct websites, corporate, government, and airline partnerships.
  • Monitor and optimize hotel yield management on third-party websites like Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda.
  • Analyze daily shop reports to identify market trends and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
  • Assess local events and activities to capitalize on new opportunities.
  • Prepare and analyze revenue reports daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Communicate strategies and procedures across departments as necessary.
  • Conduct weekly revenue management meetings.
  • Assist in preparing short- and long-term revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all rates, room types, and products.
  • Ensure confidentiality of rates, contracts, and client information during and after employment.
  • Participate in relevant training programs.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Revenue & Distribution APAC.
  • Lead initiatives to improve hotel performance through innovative strategies.
  • Report any unsafe practices or incidents immediately.
  • Demonstrate innovation and continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism in all responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively and support team members, fostering a respectful environment.
  • Make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Identify areas for business improvement to enhance yield management.
Key Position Criteria
  • Ability to collaborate across divisions and management levels.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understanding of the hospitality and property industries (hotel experience preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work hours as needed, including travel and meetings across various locations (Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, USA).
  • Availability to work full-time from our Bali or Jakarta office.
  • Ability to oversee and support a revenue team.
  • Willingness to travel for business trips as required.
