Project Manager - Construction Officer

Our client, a retail chain companyis seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager - Construction Officer to lead and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project timelines and financial goals.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project progress.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues, taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure a safe and high-quality work environment.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
• Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is proceeding according to plan and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a minimum of 4 years of successful project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with construction-related software and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
• Strong commitment to safety and quality.
