Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in the assigned market. Lead a sales team and provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the Company’s vision and values. Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of subordinates through training.
- Develops business plans and sales strategies to ensure Company’s sales goals and profitability is achieved.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the Sales Engineers/Executives.
- Prepare action plans for the individuals as well as for the team in order to obtain effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new market.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as required.
- Conduct one-on-one review with the sales team to build more effective communication, understand training and development needs and to provide insight for the improvement of sales and activity performance.
- Provide timely feedback to senior management in regards to performance.
- Provide timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.
- Maintain accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Sales Engineers/Executives.
- Create and conduct proposal presentations to clients whenever necessary.
- Assist Sales Engineers/Executives in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes to ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Recruit, test, and hire Sales Engineers/Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
- Any other duties assigned by the Management.
- The Company may at any time, deemed necessary, add or amend any of these job responsibilities.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
- 5 -7 years of working experience, preferably in a manufacturing company with prior experience in industrial sales & services.
- Experience in air conditioning and related products.
- Strong understanding of customer, market dynamics and requirements.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proven leadership and ability to drive sales teams.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Air-conditioning/refrigeration competency certifications are desirable.
