Responsibilities include:

1. Be the first line support to our sales team to win customers and projects using EAE.
2. Provide application support to OEMs, system integrators, and end users using EAE.
3. Support customers on complex automation applications involving EAE.
4. Troubleshoot and assist customers in developing and executing their applications on EAE.
5. Conduct design audits and application assessments for mission-critical automation projects.
6. Support the sales team on application design topics using EAE.

Customer Engagement & Strategic Solutioning

1. Work closely with industrial customers and partners to understand their automation challenges and tailor EAE applications.
2. Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and customer roadmap discussions to promote EAE adoption.
3. Support customers in converting competitor solutions to EAE by developing code and applications.
4. Assist customers in building solutions that meet their application needs using EAE.
5. Support business development with technical insights, demonstrations, and competitive advantages.

Technical Ownership & Best Practices Development

1. Design and build application solutions using EAE.
2. Create technical documentation, playbooks, and design guides.
3. Conduct technical validation reviews for large automation projects.
4. Collaborate with COC and LOB to optimize applications and scalability.

Training, Enablement & Technical Advocacy

1. Support onsite training needs.
2. Create white papers, best practices, case studies, and share knowledge to promote EAE.
3. Represent Schneider Electric at industry forums and conferences.
4. Develop marketing content like webinars, blog posts, and demos.
5. Engage with academic and research institutions to promote EAE adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT programming, or related fields.
• Embedded Software Engineer background with strong IT focus.
• Knowledge of IIoT and IT-OT convergence.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, Windows/Linux development, Docker/Kubernetes, Virtualization, Event-driven architecture, C# for HMI.
• Networking experience: LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, communication protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT).
• Ability to develop code and design system architecture for industrial applications.
• Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
• Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/DCS, industrial networking.
• Experience in deploying large-scale automation solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Minimum of 5 years in automation solution development and programming.
