Responsibilities include:
- Be the first line support to our sales team to win customers and projects using EAE.
- Provide application support to OEMs, system integrators, and end users using EAE.
- Support customers on complex automation applications involving EAE.
- Troubleshoot and assist customers in developing and executing their applications on EAE.
- Conduct design audits and application assessments for mission-critical automation projects.
- Support the sales team on application design topics using EAE.
Customer Engagement & Strategic Solutioning
- Work closely with industrial customers and partners to understand their automation challenges and tailor EAE applications.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions, workshops, and customer roadmap discussions to promote EAE adoption.
- Support customers in converting competitor solutions to EAE by developing code and applications.
- Assist customers in building solutions that meet their application needs using EAE.
- Support business development with technical insights, demonstrations, and competitive advantages.
Technical Ownership & Best Practices Development
- Design and build application solutions using EAE.
- Create technical documentation, playbooks, and design guides.
- Conduct technical validation reviews for large automation projects.
- Collaborate with COC and LOB to optimize applications and scalability.
Training, Enablement & Technical Advocacy
- Support onsite training needs.
- Create white papers, best practices, case studies, and share knowledge to promote EAE.
- Represent Schneider Electric at industry forums and conferences.
- Develop marketing content like webinars, blog posts, and demos.
- Engage with academic and research institutions to promote EAE adoption.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, IT programming, or related fields.
- Embedded Software Engineer background with strong IT focus.
- Knowledge of IIoT and IT-OT convergence.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming, Windows/Linux development, Docker/Kubernetes, Virtualization, Event-driven architecture, C# for HMI.
- Networking experience: LAN, WAN, VLAN, routers, communication protocols (Modbus, EthernetIP, Profinet, HTTPS, MQTT).
- Ability to develop code and design system architecture for industrial applications.
- Hands-on knowledge of industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP).
- Expertise in PLC programming, SCADA/DCS, industrial networking.
- Experience in deploying large-scale automation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
- Minimum of 5 years in automation solution development and programming.
