Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and deliver engaging lessons in Economics and Accounting for Cambridge IGCSE/A Level students according to Cambridge standards.
2. Utilize diverse teaching methodologies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and create a supportive, challenging learning environment.
3. Adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
4. Provide constructive feedback and conduct regular formative and summative assessments to support student’s academic and personal development.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the Economics and Accounting curriculum.
6. Participate in extracurricular activities and school community events.
7. Communicate clearly with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a positive and supportive learning community.
Requirements:
1. Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, with a profound commitment to Christian values and the ability to integrate faith and learning to foster spiritual growth alongside academic excellence.
2. Commitment to Elyon’s mission and values, actively participating in school community activities and initiatives.
3. Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
4. Teaching certification or experience in Cambridge IGCSE/A Level Economics and Accounting is preferred.
5. Familiarity with the Cambridge curriculum.
6. Minimum English proficiency of CEFR B1 (IELTS 4.0-5.0)
7. Experience using innovative educational technologies and methodologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
8. Passion for education and student development.
9. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
