Responsibilities:
1. Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of brand marketing and PR professionals.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Ensure the team has the necessary resources and training to achieve their goals.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measurement tools to track and evaluate the effectiveness of PR activities and campaigns.
2. Market support
- Mid- to long-term brand strategy alignment with new subsidiaries
- Setting up of marketing organization and its development
3. Full Funnel Management Report
- Train, monitor and support the Full Funnel Management report development from the market to provide marketing performance in collaboration with GSMG team
4. Brand Strategy and Development
- Develop and execute a cohesive regional brand marketing strategy that support the enhancement of brand awareness within the region and supports business objectives across all product lines and initiatives.
- Establish and maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistent application across all marketing and communication activities in the region.
- Working collaboratively with HQ brand communication and brand strategy team for market research to understand market perceptions, and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with global marketing teams to align regional strategies with global brand direction and initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate potential brand partnerships and sponsorships that align with Hyundai's brand values and target audience.
5. Synergy and Governance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, product planning, legal, and regional management.
- Ensure governance of brand guidelines, reporting and data collection with subsidiaries and distributors
- Collaborate effectively with external agencies and vendors, ensuring they deliver high-quality work within budget and timelines.
- Budget monitoring, adjustment and allocation for marketing team
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in brand marketing and public relations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a multinational corporation, preferably in the automotive industry, with a proven track record in working with regional or global teams.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies & campaign
- Strong understanding of the Asia Pacific media landscape and cultural nuances.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Proficient in English is a must.
