A leading company in the FMCG sector is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their sales team in the JABODETABEK region. The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in sales management and distributor management, with proven leadership abilities and strong interpersonal skills. This role involves creating sales plans, managing distributor relationships, and achieving sales targets while promoting the company's values across all employee levels.
Creating a sales plan based on the annual sales target and leading the team to achieve the volume and revenue targets for the assigned region (selling in & selling out).
Developing promotion and activation program plans within the company's goals and budget to achieve sales targets.
Ensuring implementation of brand activities in the area, aligning with the approved marketing policies and guidelines.
Creating initiatives and ideas to compete, deliver market share, and increase sales volume.
Identifying sales growth opportunities and new channel development in the region.
Responsible for coverage strategy and supporting the team in designing maximum coverage strategies based on the region’s population, profile, number of outlets, and business potential.
Handling KPI setting and initiating effective KPIs (sales targets, distribution targets, visibility targets, phasing targets) for the entire sales team as per trade marketing standards, and ensuring these KPIs are communicated and shared with the team.
Supervising distributor management, managing distributor valuation and records to establish the best-in-class distributor partnerships.
Managing end-to-end sales processes through distributor partners (stock, service level, coverage, AR, AP, reporting) and continuously improving these processes.
Conducting achievement reviews and periodic appraisals of team members against pre-determined standards to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Achieving assigned sales targets by maximizing promotion and sales activities of the company’s products.
Monitoring competition, market trends, and rival activities; providing feedback to head office and suggesting strategies to improve market competitiveness.
Responsible for delivering the sales plan and strategy across the sales field through the Area Sales Manager and Area Sales Supervisor.
Promoting and instilling the company’s values at all employee levels.
Preparing sales reports and reporting directly to the Head of Sales at the head office (Jakarta).
Leading the sales team for the assigned region, including managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development.

Applicants must be willing to work in: JABODETABEK.
A minimum of 10 years in sales management and distributor management within the FMCG industry.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across diverse populations and organizational levels.
Highly sales-driven with high energy levels.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strategic thinker with sound business judgment.
Proven leadership abilities to guide a sales team towards company goals.
Assertive personality preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
