A leading telecommunications group is seeking an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to elevate their commercial strategy and execution.

About the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO):

You will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing the entire commercial strategy. Your role will include leading sales and marketing teams, ensuring alignment of commercial goals. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and executing a comprehensive commercial strategy to drive growth, enhance customer retention, and increase market share.
  2. Leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing sales and marketing teams focused on delivering solutions. Establishing best-in-class sales strategies to expand relationships with existing customers.
  3. Establishing KPIs and performance metrics to monitor progress and drive revenue growth, ensuring sales targets align with financial objectives.
  4. Staying ahead of market trends and the competitive landscape within telecommunications, providing insights and actionable recommendations based on market intelligence.
  5. Collaborating with senior leadership, including Operations, to ensure a unified approach to delivering solutions and services that meet client needs.
  6. Overseeing commercial budgets to ensure cost-effective strategies and maximizing ROI for all activities.
  7. Representing the company externally at industry forums, conferences, and partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in senior commercial leadership roles within B2B sales and marketing in telecommunications.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven track record of driving revenue and growth in competitive markets, managing large and complex sales teams.
  • Established networks within the telecommunications sector, including service providers and vendors.
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, pricing models, contract negotiations, and customer acquisition strategies in telecom.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
