Position Overview

Based at our regional Innovation Centre in Denpasar to support business development in Eastern Indonesia, we are currently seeking:

Technical Advisor (Denpasar – Bali)

Reporting to the Regional Technical Supervisor and Country Technical Manager, the successful candidate will support the Business Development team by providing guidance on Puratos product applications, managing sales and business opportunities, and collaborating with existing and potential customers.

Key Accountabilities

1. Demonstrate application of Puratos products efficiently, emphasizing the benefits of our innovations and technologies.
2. Develop concepts and recipes aligned with the company's nutritional philosophy, market expectations, customer needs, and consumer trends, in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and R&D.
3. Visit customers to work on projects, provide training, implement programs, and present new recipes and solutions.
4. Support customers in preparing high-quality finished products, emphasizing product quality.
5. Utilize the latest technologies to optimize customer efficiency without compromising product quality.
6. Organize workshops and training sessions, sharing product knowledge professionally, including presentations and demonstrations.
7. Create reports (including recipes) for each project to facilitate follow-up.
8. Participate in new product development and range review, working with R&D and Marketing departments.
9. Ensure that the company's image-building efforts align with product standards across various media.
10. Build expertise and networks in the specialty area, aiming to become a recognized product expert through training and field experience, and share market intelligence on innovations and trends.

Profile

• Minimum Diploma in Gastronomic Sciences, Culinary, or Baking School.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in bakery, patisserie, or pastry, with knowledge of baking ingredients, especially in the HORECA industry.
• Knowledge of production techniques in bakery, patisserie, and chocolate, and awareness of market developments.
• Familiarity with regional, national, and global market trends.
• Willingness to learn and apply new technical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for baking, good communication skills, flexibility, adaptability, precision, and reliability.
