This role involves creating both short-term and long-term mine designs, overseeing production schedules, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. The Senior Mine Plan Engineer works closely with geologists, surveyors, and operations teams to maximize resource recovery, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs. They also provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and actively contribute to continuous improvement in mining operations.
