Job Description
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the chemical sector, targeting industrial clients and key accounts in the Banjarmasin region.
- Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients, offering tailored chemical solutions to meet their operational and production needs.
- Develop a deep understanding of client processes, offering innovative chemical products and services that enhance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
- Present and negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing models with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the seamless delivery and implementation of chemical solutions.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements to stay ahead of market demands.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets while maintaining a high standard of client satisfaction.
- Provide timely reports on sales activities, forecasts, and performance metrics to leadership.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all services and solutions adhere to regulatory standards and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Strong hunting skills with a track record of successfully generating new business and closing sales in the chemical industry.
- Solid understanding of chemical products, services, and solutions, including their application in industrial processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-driven with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the Banjarmasin market and regional industry needs is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients' challenges.
- Fluent in English
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory
