Essential Functions
  1. Uncover new customer opportunities and develop strategies to close business in these accounts, employing a hunter approach to territory management.
  2. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to increase long-term profitable revenue in assigned key strategic accounts or markets.
  3. Promote the sale of products, services, and programs to key accounts and develop relationships with executive decision-makers.
  4. Collaborate with functional areas within Transfusion Management and Haemonetics to meet customer needs and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  5. Assume leadership roles within Transfusion Management and be prepared for additional responsibilities as part of the leadership team.
Responsibilities
  1. Arrange and deliver presentations and demonstrations of products, solutions, and services.
  2. Develop and grow relationships with senior management at key strategic accounts (CEO, Executive Directors, VPs).
  3. Create and maintain financial profitability models for key accounts.
  4. Build strong relationships within the Haemonetics team.
  5. Negotiate new and renewed contracts with clients.
  6. Implement customer growth plans to meet or exceed financial targets.
  7. Forecast revenues and sales targets for new and existing opportunities.
  8. Identify and develop relationships at various organizational levels to qualify and expand opportunities, securing buy-in and achieving account objectives.
Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • At least 5 years of experience in complex sales with new or existing clients; more experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital software and/or capital equipment sales.
  • Proven success managing lengthy, complex, contract-heavy sales cycles and enterprise accounts.
  • Hunter approach to territory management.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in the Transfusion Management industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage with senior management regarding business needs.
  • Strong background in Information Technology is desirable.
  • Excellent sales skills in complex environments, with at least five years in hospital sales.
  • A competitive drive demonstrated through awards and rankings.
  • Interest in clinical outcomes and continuous learning.
  • Sales leadership experience is highly regarded.
