Head of Placement & Servicing (Employee Benefit)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Placement & Servicing to join one of our clients, an Insurance Company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance placement and customer service management, with excellent leadership and negotiation skills. This role involves overseeing the Placement team, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining strong relationships with insurance companies and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Formulate and implement strategies for insurance placement and customer service.
  2. Monitor and ensure the placement process meets established criteria.
  3. Determine the security list for placement and conduct regular evaluations.
  4. Negotiate with insurance companies and approve insurance closure proposals or amendments.
  5. Evaluate and assign tasks to the Placement team.
  6. Verify placing slips and quotation slips before sending them to insurance companies and clients.
  7. Monitor customer responses to quotation slips and ensure timely follow-up.
  8. Verify policies, endorsements, and invoices to ensure accuracy.
  9. Collaborate with the Marketing & Business Development team to evaluate new business customer needs and provide guidance to potential customers.
  10. Evaluate team performance and identify development opportunities through training.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in any field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years in a managerial position within the insurance industry.
  3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio), and a strong understanding of insurance techniques.
  4. Soft Skills: Strong leadership qualities, excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work meticulously.
  5. Certifications: AAPAI / AAAIK / CIIB, Broker Competency Level 5.
