Job description

Application Engineering plays a significant role and sits between Sales & Project Engineers. The focus is primarily on pre-sales activities, which require skills to understand customer processes, demands, and product knowledge. An Application Engineer reviews the technical and commercial aspects of each proposal.

Job Description includes the following:

Cooperate with the Sales Team to communicate with customers regarding Pre-Sales and Post-Sales activities.

Pre-Sales activities involve preparing presentations, drawings, BOQ, proposals, quotations, and conducting surveys.

Analyze and research to understand customer processes.

Identify appropriate solutions for customers and formulate them into proposals, drawings, and quotations.

Post-Sales activities mainly involve project kick-off meetings, order processing, drawing checks, and inspecting incoming goods upon arrival.

Qualifications include:

• Graduates from Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemicals, Optical, or Electrical engineering backgrounds.
• Knowledge of online gas and liquid instrumentation, especially related to UVIS, Colorimetry, ultrasonics, etc., is advantageous.
• Passion for understanding customer processes and finding suitable solutions.
• CAD software skills are advantageous.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
• Good presentation skills.
